After 23 years of this annual trip with a group of friends definitely in the top 3 of chalets we have stayed in. Can’t say enough positive. If you are looking at this chalet to book do it now before it’s gone. Everything was as described, well equipped, nice furnishings, kitchen well stocked, comfortable beds all the way to the personalized greeting sign, bottle of wine and chocolates. David was quick to reply with any additional instructions or suggestions. We will definitely be back next year.
Amazing place to stay. I chose this place for my 30th birthday and couldn’t have picked a better location. Everything was as showed in the picture. The views included. The whole place was clean and had everything ready for us to relax. Thank you for opening your doors to us. I will recommend it to everyone who wants to experience a trip to the mountains.
Went there for a small family gathering, and I have say this place is wonderful, it has many entertainment for the kids and adults no need to leave that cabin, if you are looking for the perfect getaway this is the place to go, I’ll recommend it to anyone anytime.

Sweet Home Bearolina was absolutely amazing and more than met our expectations. The views were incredible and the cabin accommodated our multi-family Christmas vacation perfectly. They even decorated and had a tree to make it special for the season.
Our host was extremely proactive and responsive in communicating with us as the winter storm was coming in right in around the time we checked in. He provided info and accommodation ahead of time to ensure our safety which meant a lot.
There were a few minor maintenance /cleaning issues that we communicated to our host but all in all we had a wonderful time and enjoyed making memories that we will have forever.
This place is amazing – absolutely what I expected based on the photos. If you are considering this spot- book it! We did a family holiday stay and this cabin was perfect. It is secluded and private, which is exactly what we were looking for. The views and scenery are unparalleled. You will not be disappointed staying here!
A wonderful place for our annual family trip to Dollywood! 7 adults and 4 kids under 7.
The house is inviting and well-decorated! It is roomy AND cozy. Light switches/fans and kitchen drawers/cabinets are well marked.
The views are amazing, the amenities are great, kitchen is well-stocked and the table fit all of us!
Living room couches abundant, big and comfortable. Beds are very comfortable. Fireplace was easy to use. The kids loved the lowest level with plenty for them to do.
Hot tub was enjoyed as was the 1st floor deck – plenty of seating for taking in the views, 2 big picnic tables and fire table.
The only thing that could have been better was if we had more time allowing a longer stay!

David was a great host. From the time that we booked the Airbnb till the time that we left. Their communication was very great, the house was everything you expected it to be plus more. The view is fantastic and definitely worth the experience.
As a highlight for our trip we had a black bear encounter. We were rookies when it came to the smoky mountains. We accidentally left our van unlocked and the bear thought that was a great opportunity to get inside. I highly recommend everyone to just be cautious of the wild life haha.
Overall this was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely book with David again.
We loved everything about the Sweet Home Bearolina cabin. It couldn’t have accommodated our family any more perfectly. From the complimentary wine and other assortments to the breathtaking views to the promptness of your responses when we were in need of assistance— we really couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant overall experience. Suffice to say, we would highly recommend the cabin to anyone who shows interest in visiting the area. Thank you so much again for your hospitality.
The perfect cabin for our family of 12 to gather to celebrate our 45th anniversary with ages from 7 to 67. We enjoyed the seclusion yet close enough to get to activities including white water rafting. Zip lining, Alpine roller coaster, sky lift and suspension bridge in Gatlinburg. Great hikes in the park to Laurel Falls, Clingman’s Dome and the Appalachian Trail. We had most meals as a family at the cabin enjoying the amazing view. It was fun to have Mama and baby bear come to visit.
